Medical Guidelines for International Students
- The Connecticut State University System Health Form must be completed entirely.
- A physical examination must be done within one year prior to entering the university.
- The following immunizations are required by law:
- Tetanus booster (Td) – updated within the last ten years
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella: all students born after 1956 must present documentation of immunity (see requirements on health form)
- Tuberculin skin test – MANTOUX / PPD is required within one year prior to entering the university. The PPD must be done in an American facility or the University Health Service.
- Menomune (meningitis) vaccine – is required for students living in the residence halls.
- Hepatitis B vaccine series is not required but highly recommended.
