Evan R. Bernstein '98

Evan Bernstein is currently ADL’s New York Regional Director and is responsible for overseeing all New York and New Jersey state initiatives. He is regularly quoted in news sources that include CNN.com, Huffington Post, The Daily News and JTA about ADL’s perspective on key regional issues. Evan came to ADL after extensive experience in operations, development and leadership at several major Jewish and Israeli communal organizations. He served as the Executive Vice President for the American Friends of Midgal Ohr and was National Director of Development for the Boston-based David Project Center for Jewish Leadership. Evan also held a managerial role at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, where he ran the organization’s state operations in Arizona.
Evan earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Western Connecticut State University and also received a master's degree in General Management — Nonprofits from the Harvard Extension School.
