James Burns is a principal in Enterprise Risk Services at Deloitte & Touche LLP and national leader for Identity Management Services. Consumer business and manufacturing are his industry specialties. As the organization’s leader for identity management, he assumed a key position in developing and delivering the i-MAAP™ solution. He is responsible for creating the implementation methodology and training curriculum for this security offering. He also has extensive experience in PeopleSoft security and controls.
Jim left Deloitte in 1993 to manage a battery manufacturer’s worldwide information technology audit practice in 14 countries but returned in 1997.
He has a BBA in Management Information
Systems from WestConn and an MBA in Finance from the
University of Connecticut.
