Lillian "Sissy" McKee '04
BBA, Management
Lillian "Sissy" McKee graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Ancell School of Business in 2004 with a major in Business Management, Human Resources and a minor in Communications, Human Relations. She culminated her college career with a GPA of 3.98, earning the Connecticut State Merit Scholarship, the SHRM Scholarship, the Alumni Scholarship, the Management Department Award, the Dean’s Award and the Henry Barnard Scholarship. Sissy completed her degree while managing a healthcare practice, completing a corporate internship with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals and continuing to raise her family.
Sissy joined Boehringer Ingelheim full-time in 2005 as a development training specialist and was promoted into management as an organizational effectiveness business partner in 2007. In this position, she provided training, development and talent management support to BI’s scientific areas.
A lifelong learner, Sissy has continued her education earning various professional certifications — most notably the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP). This highest accreditation accorded through the American Society of Training and Development is earned by only 600 people across the U.S. annually.
A member of the WCSU Alumni Association Board of Directors, Sissy lives
in Brookfield with her husband Dan and their children Wes and Kelsey.
