For the fifth consecutive year, we are including alumni in New Student Orientation. We are looking for alumni representatives from each
class to help welcome our incoming freshman class to the university during
the
“Entering the Gates” Ceremony on:

WCSU Midtown Campus
We are inviting participating alumni to a reception at 11:30 a.m. in Alumni Hall, located on the Midtown campus. The “Entering the Gates” procession will begin at 1:30 p.m. where alumni will welcome the incoming class as they proceed through the WestConn gates, symbolically representing their entrance to the university. A short ceremony will follow in the Midtown Quadrangle where alumni will present the class of 2016 with their class flag. Afterwards alumni will have the opportunity to mingle with new students.

Are you a parent or family member of a new student and also a WestConn alumnus? If so, please join us for an alumni legacy photo with your student taking place this day at noon on the Old Main Front Steps (Old Main entrance facing White Street).
