Alumni Member Benefits Program (WCSU SAVE)
Dear Business Owner:
Since 1903, Western Connecticut State University has enjoyed a wonderful relationship with the business community. Throughout our growth, the greater Danbury business community has supported the many events and programs with sponsorship dollars, in-kind donations and attendance at events.
As part of this on-going relationship, we would like to offer you a chance to become involved in the WestConn Alumni benefits program. In 2003, WestConn introduced their WCSU-Save CARD. This card enables WestConn alumni to save on benefits and services throughout the greater Danbury area, and to help increase the traffic flow to your business.
The WestConn Alumni Association serves 23,000 members, with 12,000 members living within a 15-mile radius of the university. Currently, active members of the Alumni Association receive a discount at the WestConn Bookstore, O’Neill Center recreational facilities, borrowing privileges at the WestConn Haas & Young Libraries, a reduced membership to the Smithsonian Institution and discounts for campus events.
We would like to strengthen the relationship between WCSU alumni and the business community. By participating in the program, your business receives increased visibility and business, while providing savings to alumni. It is our hope that the WCSU-Save CARD will be honored at restaurants, salons, car dealers, dry cleaners, retail shops, automotive services, lodging, etc. Your business chooses the offer that will attract the consumer.
The $50 participation fee in the WCSU-Save CARD promotion will include your business in the following promotional listings:
- Alumni News (circulation 23,000)
- WCSU-Save CARD brochure mailing to alumni
- WestConn Website listing
