He teaches workshops at the Caifiordi Art School in Pietralunga, Italy and the Washington Art Association, Washington, CT. He has exhibited in museums and galleries nationally and internationally. His work is included in over twenty-five corporate collections. In 2007 he was featured at the Sculpture Barn. During the Spring 2002 semester, Robert Alberetti went on a sabbatical to Spain. His work from this period was displayed in Warner Hall during the month of November 2002.

Influenced by his travels and research in Italy, France, Turkey, Spain and Ireland, Alberetti's work reflects his love of color, the unique qualities of materials and the emotional responses evoked from abstraction. He works in oil, collage, mixed media, watercolor and encaustic. He maintains a studio in New Fairfield.
