Amy Cutler

Amy Cutler is an internationally known painter with works in museum collections, including, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New Museum, the NY Public Library, and the Morgan Library and Museum. The list of collections outside NYC is equally extensive. 

Cutler received her BFA at Cooper Union, and also studied at the Skowhegan School. She has had numerous exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the US and in Europe. Her shows have been reviewed in The NY Times, The Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, Boston Globe, Artforum, Artnews, and many other publications. She is represented in NY by Leslie Tonkonow Artworks + Projects, where she recently had her sixth solo show featuring a collaborative, multimedia installation. Entitled “Fossa”, it was commissioned by SITE Santa Fe in 2015 for its twentieth anniversary exhibition. Also in 2015, her work was included in “Drawing Now” at the Albertina Museum in Vienna, Austria, and the Stedelijk Museum in Ghent, Belgium.
