Betty Ann Medeiros has been providing illustrations for various magazines including Country Journal Magazine, Fine Gardening, Herb Quarterly and Cricket Magazine. She has signed a licensing agreement with Applejack Art Partners of Manchester, VT, a company that publishes posters, cards, calendars and other commercial products for the mass market.
As an art instructor, Betty Ann teaches in her own studio and as an adjunct professor at WestConn. She teaches all levels of watercolor and acrylic and has taught computer classes in desktop publishing and Photoshop.
Betty Ann specializes in portraits of children, animals and buildings. She is represented by The Art Gallery in Plumtrees Plaza in Danbury does commissioned art work and illustration. Betty belongs to the Richter Art Association, Bethel Art League and SCAN. She has won several awards for her work and sells her signature watercolors in numerous galleries and art shows. She also works on private portrait commissions on a regular basis.
