Elisa DeLand continues to paint and has received her masters in education.
Elisa was born in Peru. Her interest in art was developed because she decided to take classes upon her arrival to the United States. She won an award during her first exhibition and continues to look at the world through the eyes of an artist.
Elisa has exhibited her work in the Newtown Library, Pin Gallery in Shelton, CT and The Art Center in Milford, CT. Her work can be viewed online at http://www.geocities.com/deland_ct/
She is now working as a health aide for the elderly, ensuring that they are cared for and taking the proper medications.
