Amy married Rich Murdy in July 2001 and lived in Newtown, CT for 8 years. After only a year in the design world, she returned to WCSU for a teaching certificate and masters. Upon graduation, she taught at Head O' Meadow Elementary School in Newtown as a first grade teacher. They moved to Scituate, Ma - South Shore of Boston in 2006 and she continued to work as a first grade teacher and Rich as area manager for a medical device company. They have a son named Gavin and now live in NH and Amy is staying home with her son until he goes to school and she will do the same.
