Eric Smith paints large and small celestial and psychedelic paintings of landscapes and abstract worlds and places. Eric sells his work on a few different levels; the larger and most complex are exhibited or seen by appointment at the Wallingford Art Center, a new Gallery/artist co-operative that also promotes community participation in The Arts www.wallingfordartcenter.com Eric's smaller work is sold at several unique consignment stores; MTB Candles and New England Treasures.
His most exciting endeavor is the small business he's recently started called "Psychedelic Creations", which promotes local artists by rotating their work from location to location. A "location" is simply a restaurant, bank, hotel, cafe or place of any kind that volunteers their lobbies or space, these places . Solo and group shows are rotated from place to place by Psychedelic Creations at no cost or work for the artist, although a small agreed upon commission is retained when something sells.
