Jim Gabianelli states, “All my life I have spent time around cars, trucks, motorcycles, and heavy equipment. As a young boy, I developed a fascination with the aesthetics of each machine. As I have grown and matured, my interest in the mechanical aspect of things grew as well.
Consequently, my recent art has become a physical representation of the duality of form and function which makes each machine unique.” when discussing his hyperrealist, intensely colored auto studies.
Jim has artwork on permanent display at Main Street Cycle in Portland,
CT. As of July, 2011 he has been teaching (as a representative of
Grumbacher Paints) Acrylic painting classes at Michael's Art and Craft
Store in Manchester, CT. Since May 2010, he has been teaching Painting
and Drawing Classes at the Mansfield Community Center in Mansfield, CT
and he continues to work on several commissioned works for
area motorcycle and car enthusiasts.
