Barbara Mansilla, of Hamden, came from Guatemala to study art in the United States. She received a BFA in Illustration from Paier College of Art.
She works as a resident artist @ P.L.A.C.E. Art Studio in Hamden CT, http://www.placechildrensmuseum.org/, teaching after school, and Saturday art classes. She is responsible for teaching summer and spring break art camps and works on a vocational program for people with disabilities.
