Jurg Lanzrein

Jurg Lanzrein, an adjunct professor in ceramics, was a professional dancer with major  European dance companies.  He was named a Fellow at the Institute of Choreography in London and became Ballet Master at the Deutsche Oper on Berlin.  He came to America to join the New York City Ballet Company by invitation from George Balanchine.

He started working in ceramic art, translating dance rhythms and movement through his work. 

He designed and produced for Tiffany & Company an his individual clients.  His work was published in Architectural Digest and the Tiffany Table Setting Book.


He is now working on murals, dimensional abstractions,
 "Dancers Perspectives."
