Sigmund Bookbinder

Sigmund Bookbinder is an adjunct professor at Western and continues to freelance in media and stock photography. 

Mr. Bookbinder began his career as a landscape architect, designing camps for the New York and National Boy Scouts.  He turned to photography after twelve years and  has been a photographer for thirty-three years.

He has provided work for various magazines including Girl Talk, Ebony, Boys Life and Scouting.

At Western, Mr. Bookbinder teaches Photography I and Color Photography and has taught Photography II and Photo Journalism.
