Darby Cardonsky

Darby Cardonsky, an advisor to the WestConn MFA program from 2002 to 2009, is the former owner and partner of the Bachelier Cardonsky Gallery. She received a master's degree in studio art at Hunter College in New York, and upon graduation went to work for a dealer, Spencer Samuala in Old Masters in the city. In addition, Ms. Cardonsky got an education in Modern art as the private secretary and studio assistant to Lee Krasner, the widow of Jackson Pollock.

Darby is teaching Gallery Studies, a course preparing the students to curate a gallery or museum.
