Victoria
Vebell is a seasoned professional illustrator. She has worked in all
areas of publishing, editorial and advertising for over 37 years. She
recently earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from The Art Institute of
Boston specializing in digital art. For many years, prior to her
graduate degree, Victoria worked in traditional media, but now prefers
the digital medium. Her specialty is paperback book covers.
In the past some of her work has won awards at the Society of Illustrators and one of her covers appeared on “Good Morning America”; a morning TV news/talk show. Currently she is working on a New York Times Best Selling Author series for Berkley Books.
She is also the author and illustrator for the book
Exploring The Basics of Drawing, a textbook on how to draw for
Cengage Learning.
Some of her clients include: Bantam, Doubleday, Dell, Berkley
Books, Harlequin, Simon and Schuester, Penguin/Putnam, Harcourt
Brace, Postal Commemorative Society, and General Foods.
Victoria currently teaches at Pratt Institute, design, digital
illustration and graduate courses at Western Connecticut
State University, and for the online division of Art institute of Pittsburgh.
She resides in New Haven, Connecticut. She is the
daughter of another well known illustrator, Ed Vebell.
