About Ancell School of Business
The Ancell School of Business is composed of five business administration departments: Accounting, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and the Division of Justice and Law Administration (JLA). The admission, academic probation, and suspension standards are the same for both the JLA Division and the Business Administration programs.
The business school offers the degrees of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA). The JLA Division offers the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Justice and Law Administration (BS) and Master of Science in Justice Administration (MSJA). JLA also offers a Paralegal program.
Western Connecticut State University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., a nongovernmental, nationally recognized organization whose affiliated institutions include elementary schools through collegiate institutions offering postgraduate instruction. Accreditation by the New England Association applies to the institution as a whole.
