Welcome to the Ancell School of Business at Western Connecticut State University. We are excited that you chose to visit our website and we thank you for your interest in the Ancell School of Business.
As a school, we are dedicated to our mission of preparing students for their future in the global economy and to contribute to the economic development of our service region and the state of Connecticut. Students in the Ancell School learn from faculty who challenge students to excel by offering them a complementary combination of learning methods. These methods include community involvement, experiential learning, research projects with faculty, technology enabled classroom instruction, and development of essential leadership skills, such as working in teams and effective managerial communication.
Our faculty are experts in their fields and enhance the classroom experiences with backgrounds as scholars, practitioners, consultants, and corporate and organizational effectiveness trainers. As a student in the Ancell School or a member of the business community, you will have a chance to meet a distinguished group of faculty whose talents and expertise cover an array of fields including, information security management, financial forensics, negotiation, interactive marketing, criminology, global business, and international issues in law enforcement.
