Introduction
The Management Department provides quality programs through personal attention to each student, ongoing refinement of programs and course content, and a commitment to emphasizing technology in both course content and delivery. Small class sizes, one-on-one academic advising, and an emphasis on the practical application of Management principles and theory are also hallmarks of the Management Department.
The Management Department offers options in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Human Resource Management, and Supervisory Management to undergraduate students in the Ancell School of Business.
At the graduate level, the Department offers a Master of Health Administration (MHA) program and supports the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and the Master of Science in Justice Administration (MSJA) program.
What is Management?
Management can be conceptualized as the process of optimizing human, physical and financial resources for the accomplishment of an organization's goals and objectives. Managers typically manage work, other people and groups, and themselves. Ultimately, Management involves the artful balancing of conflicting values, goals, and roles.
