CS 385 - Data Mining
4 semester hours
This is an introductory course in Data Mining. Data mining is an evolving and growing interdisciplinary area of research and development, both in academia as well as in industry. Along with the traditional concepts and functions of data mining, like classification, clustering, and rule mining, students will be introduced to the current issues related to mining in Web and multimedia applications. Prerequisites: CS 171, Junior-level standing
