Students in Dr. Cronin's course developed social networking plans or recommendations for local organizations including: -Housatonic Habit for Humanity -Greater Danbury Women's Center -Ridgefield Boys and Girls Club -Danbury Museum and Historical Society -Dream Come True of Western Connecticut -New Milford Visiting Nurse Association -The Danbury Rotary Club -Hord Foundation -Danbury Schools and Business Collaborative -Land Trust of Danbury -Charles Ives Authority -Bethel and Ridgefield Visiting Nurses Association -Hunt Hill Farm -Preserve New Fairfield -Community Action Committee of Danbury. Students worked in international collaborations with Loyola College, Chennai, India. All classes investigated real issues real-time for a large multinational company (Staples, Inc.) relating to doing business in a culturally rich and diverse consumer retail market - India. Several of these classes SKYPED with Staples in China (liaison involved in both the Indian and China markets). |

A Web video for Candlewood Marketing Corp. Students are developing the creative concept for the video, storyboarding and scripting it, and producing and editing it. The video is intended to bring the company's Web site into the Web 2.0 era. This is a competitive project: six teams of students are competing to see which one's video will be selected by Candlewood. |
