Lecture “Privacy, Security and Safety in a Social Media World” – by Facebook’s Chris Kelly. As the first chief privacy officer, general counsel and head of global public policy for Facebook, Kelly helped the company grow from tis college roots to the ubiquitous communications medium that it is today.

CONGRATULATIONS to Mohinder Dugal for his upcoming presentations of two papers at conferences in India and New Zealand.

The first paper, titled “Verticals in Organizations: The Concept, Longitudinal Analysis of Verticals Realignments, and Theoretical Propositions”, has been accepted for the Strategic Management Society’s (SMS) India Special Conference to be held in Hyderabad, India, in December 2018.

The second one, entitled “Verticals: Is it Old Wine in a New Bottle or New Wine in Old Bottle?” has been accepted for presentation at the 32nd ANZAM (Australia New Zealand Academy of Management) conference to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, also in December 2018.

Winter Intersession Course JLA 347-81 IS NOW ENROLLING – Justice Issues in Domestic & International Terrorism is being offered Online from 12/17/2018 – 1/12/2019. Taught by Prof. Divya Sharma, this course is open to ALL MAJORS with no prerequisites.

New Student Resources Available! The Young Library has purchased PrepStep by EBSCO Learning Express, a learning resource platform for students who are preparing for exams like the LSAT and GMAT exams, careers in homeland security or law enforcement. Many resources are available. Please share with your students.
