The Director of Campus & Student Centers
is responsible for the fiscal management for the student organizations
and the Student Activities
Funds. This includes the accounts for the Student Government Association
and all student organizations. He is
assisted by the Student Organization Fiscal Assistant, Cynthia Johnson.
She is responsible for the day-to-day operation and oversight of the
fiscal management. Fiscal management is governed by the policies and
procedures issued by the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management and
the rules and regulations developed by the Connecticut State University
System, Western Connecticut State University and the Student Government
Association.

Our office will assist student
organizations with:
- Budget Preparation
- Understanding How to Spend Money
- Assistance with Form Preparation
It is our responsibility to insure that:
- All financial policies are properly
followed
- All expenditures are in accordance
with the approved budget
- All expenditures are approved by
the student organization membership
- All revenue is properly recorded
Forms
Student organization fiscal transactions
live on forms. Every type of transaction requires as specific form. It
is important that all forms be filled out accurately and completely. Any
form that is not correctly completed will be returned to the student
organization which will delay its processing. All forms are available
below
and are designed so they can be completed on line and then printed.
After printing the form, have the form signed and forward to Student
Center room 220.
