Westside campus
The Student Center/Student Life staff is committed
to serving the educational and social needs
of our student body, faculty, staff, alumni and
guests. This facility is a place where the university
community can sit back and relax, study,
watch TV, get a bite to eat and, most importantly,
experience college life that extends beyond
the classroom.
The New Westside Campus Center features a
full-service dining facility and Club, meeting
rooms, a ballroom, cardio-fitness center, student
organization offices and Information Desk. You’ll
also be able to find a quiet area to study and
meet with friends or a study group in the
Campus Center’s lounges.

First Floor
Food Court
Located on the first floor of the Westside Campus
Center, this full-service dining facility offers a wide variety
of fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Eateries
include: Grill 155, Sandela’s Deli, Ella’s Pizza, The
Westside Market, Smart Market (grab-and-go) as well as
beverages and a soup-and-salad bar.
The CLUB
Relax and enjoy some food and drink in a warm and
inviting atmosphere. TV monitors are positioned throughout
the room for your viewing pleasure, and our stage
features entertainment and karaoke nights.
Cardio Fitness Center
Before sampling some of the great food available in the
Westside Campus Center, stop by the Cardio Fitness
Center for a quick workout. The room is equipped with
treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes and rowing
machines. Use of the facility is free for students.

Second Floor
Information Desk
Located on the second floor of
the Westside Campus Center, provides current information
on the operations and services of the center. Our
staff conduct tours of the center, as well.
Meeting Rooms
Located on the second floor, can be
configured to meet your needs. Anything from a small
lecture room with row seating, to a conference or a banquet,
these rooms can accommodate up to a 100 people.
The Loft
Located on the second floor, overlooks the
dining area and offers a view of the campus. The Loft is
a perfect place to relax with your friends.
Grand Ballroom
Located on the second floor, can seat
up to 500 for a lecture and 350 for a banquet. The Grand
Ballroom’s features include a double-height ceiling,
portable dance floor, stage, the latest audio/visual technology,
and a service elevator for catering and conference
services.

Third Floor
Campus Center/Administration
The Student Center/Student Life Office, located in
the Westside Campus Center, Room 300, and in the
Midtown Student Center, room 220, is the primary
source for co-curricular studies and student programming
at Western Connecticut State University. The
office is responsible for the administration of both
facilities.
Leadership Resource Center
Located on
the third floor, houses a library of resources, as well as
seminar space for the Leadership Program and a quiet
lounge area.
The Quiet Lounge
Located on the third floor, is a quiet place for students to study, meditate or just relax between classes while enjoying a panoramic view of the campus.
Conference Room
Located on the third floor, can accommodate meetings of up to 20 people. This room is equipped with the latest in conferencing technology.
Student Organization Suite
The Student Government Association is the representative body for students and the governing body of WestConn’s co-curricular organizations. The SGA’s Westside office is located in Room 320C; members can be reached at (203) 837-8683. The main SGA office is located in the Midtown Student Center, Room 215.
