CLASSROOM BUILDING
Westside campus
Completed in 1981, the 89,000-square-foot Westside Classroom Building is WestConn’s most uniquely designed facility. With its "spiral" hallway concept, its four floors are accessible without using elevators or stairs.
The building is home to classrooms, lecture halls, departmental offices and computer laboratories. In addition to the business and education departments, the building houses the Office of the Dean of the Ancell School of Business, Center for Developmental Studies, Westside Computer Center, and Robert S. Young Library. The building also includes student lounges, a bookstore and offices for The Charles Ives Center for the Arts.
