Career Fairs
Career Fairs and Expos are a great way to activate your career plan. Students of all years are encouraged to attend and learn about the opportunities available to them, make connections and expand their network.
The Fall Career Expo is a low key, fun event held every September where YOU are the one asking questions of employers! This is your chance to “come as you are” (no dress up and no resume required!) to explore about 30+ industries, discover opportunities, learn about careers, ask questions, make connections and meet employers. There is a chance that a few employers might have some position openings, so if you are open to work or get an internship, consider asking!
The Annual Career Fair is a big event which offers an opportunity to meet with 75+ potential employers on one day for full-time, part-time, and seasonal jobs, as well as internship openings. The next Career Fair is scheduled for March 28, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm in the O’Neill Center, Westside Campus. Many industries are represented to ensure a wide range of job and internship possibilities for students.
Each fall term, the Career Success Center now sponsors a specialized Accounting and Finance Industries Fair hosting about 20 employers from a variety of employers who are looking for many different skills (not just Finance and Accounting!) This year’s inaugural fair was October 19th in the Westside Ballroom. The Fall 2018 event schedule will be finalized by the beginning of Summer 2018. Please check back periodically for updated information.
The Career Success Center recommends that students consider discovering more about certain industries and activating new career opportunities through Virtual Career Fairs that represent many different industries across the U.S.
