ARB 101 Introductory Arabic I 3 SH

A first semester course in Arabic. Aimed at developing the four basic skills (listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing), and preparing students for further study in the language.  The discussion of distinctive cultural aspects is an integral part of this course. General Education: Humanities/ World Languages and Literature (if ARB 102 is successfully completed.)

ARB 102 Introductory Arabic II 3 SH
A second semester course in Arabic. Further development of the four  basic skills: listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing. The discussion of distinctive cultural aspects is an integral part of this course. Prerequisite: ARB 101or placement by oral interview. General Education: Humanities/World Languages and Literature .
