CDC - "GOING GLOBAL GUIDES"
GOING GLOBAL CAREER and EMPLOYMENT RESOURCES
The Career Development Center has provided a new on-line resource for students for international career and employment information. The Going Global Country Career Guide and the Going Global USA/Canada City Career Guide are available through WestConnduit.
Going Global career and employment resources include more than 10,000 pages of constantly-updated content on topics such as: job search sources, work permit/visa regulations, resume writing guidelines and examples, employment trends, salary ranges, networking groups, cultural/interviewing advice… and much more!
USA City Guides
contain career and employment resources for the 40 largest metropolitan
areas in the USA. Included in this database are: job search
resources, employment outlook, professional networking groups, cost of
living, major employer listings by industry sector, non-profits and
volunteer opportunities.
H1B employer listings are also
listed for all 50 states!
To access the GOING GLOBAL Guides please follow the instructions below:
- Login to WestConnduit
- Upon successful login, select the "Academic" tab.
- Under the "University Services" box, select either of the Going Global Resources Links: the "CDC-Going Global Country Career Guide" or the "CDC - Going Global USA/Canada City Career Guide".
