The Career Development Center offers a wide range of workshops to assist students with their career planning and job search.

  *Pre-registration is required for any of the workshops through our on-line College Central system.

Senior Recruiting Information Session   *

Graduating Seniors who wish to participate in On/Off Campus Interview Program must attend one of the Recruiting Info Sessions. If you have a conflict with attending the Info Session please contact the Career Development Center at 203-837-8263.

These workshops will cover resume content, styles and formats, and how to successfully market yourself through your resume.

Come learn how to prepare for upcoming interviews, what to expect the day of the interview, strategies for fielding questions, and important follow-up after the interview.

Legislative Internship Info Session
*

Come learn about the Connecticut Legislative Internship Program where students can intern part or full-time during the Spring Semester at the State Capitol in Hartford. Information on typical internship responsibilities as well as the application process will be discussed.

LinkedIn Workshop

Come learn how to develop a LinkedIn profile, update your profile, and learn job search and networking techniques through LinkedIn

Resume Critique Sessions

These critique sessions are open times for individual resume critiques on a first come, first served basis. Bring your completed resume to this critique.    You do not need to pre-register for this activity.

Bring your completed resume draft for review.
 
Resume critiques can also be done during CDC "Drop-In Hours" which are held:
Wednesdays from 9am-11am and Thursdays from 1pm - 3pm in the CDC, Student Center 207.
 Westside Drop-In Hours are held on Tuesdays from 1pm-4pm in the Westside Campus Center room 300E.
