CHE 110:  GENERAL CHEMISTRY I

This is the first semester of a full year course that comprises a thorough survey of the modern principles of chemistry. Emphasis during this first semester is on atomic and molecular structure, quantitative relationships, thermodynamics and electro-chemistry. In the second semester the emphasis is on physical and chemical equilibria, kinetics, and descriptive chemistry. Fall semester. (3 hours lecture - 3 hours laboratory). 

Prerequisite:

Math placement into MAT 101

OR grade of B or better in CHE 100

OR grade of B or better in MAT 100
