Graduate Commencement 2011
Commencement reminder:
The Graduate Commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m; all graduates should report to the O’Neill Center by 6:15 p.m. for ceremony instructions.
Student should arrive no later than 6:30 !
Master's & Doctoral Degree Candidates
Degrees Conferred: January 2011, May 2011 or August 2011
Celebrate your commencement with family and friends at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011, in the Stephen Feldman Arena, William A. O'Neill Athletic and Convocation Center, Westside campus.
Students wishing to graduate must apply for graduation. Applications for a degree must be filed in the Graduate Studies Office. You may download a copy here
We are also requesting that students complete the Commencement RSVP form.
Academic Regalia Information
All participants in the academic procession are required to wear academic regalia. Graduate academic regalia orders are due by April 15, 2011.

Stole of Gratitude
The WCSU Stole of Gratitude offers an opportunity to say, "Thanks for helping me succeed." The Stole of Gratitude is worn by the graduate during the commencement ceremony. The new graduate presents the stole to its designated recipient immediately following the ceremony or on another suitable occasion.

| Academic Regalia Pick-Up Graduate students may pick up their academic regalia the week of May 16 - 19 as follows: Monday, May 16, through Thursday, May 19 at the Alumni Office. Hours: Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you are unable to pick up your regalia, please ask a friend or family member to do it for you. Due to space limitations, regalia will not be available on the day of Commencement. |
