Start of the Semester - Issues/Questions/Updates
Summer Projects:
SMART Board Installations
- To date, SMART boards have been installed in the following locations BR101, HA202A, HA202B,HI206, WA201, WA303, WH107F, WH122, WS117(rear), WS117A, WS134A, WS241, WS247, WS338, WS342, (2) WS518, OM304. The attached instruction sheet on the basic operation of the SMART board was placed with each SMART board in the classrooms. It was also distributed to the ITC.
- Two SMART board trainings has been scheduled. Friday, September 21st & October 5, 10am to 4:00/4:30pm. The (attached) outline for the training was distributed at the meeting. NOTE: After the meeting, the September 21, 2012 had be to cancelled. An alternate date will be determined.
Clickers – TurningTechnologies
- Josh McGraff, TurningTechnologies representative, is scheduled to provide a demonstration for faculty and staff on different ways to use clickers in the classroom. Two sessions will be held, one at Midtown and another at Westside. Both sessions are scheduled for October 9, 2012. An announcement will go out with more details.
