Art Auction - This is a fundraiser event.
All proceeds will be donated to the
Tanzanian Wheelchair Project
and the Tanzanian Scholarship Fund. The artwork has been
donated by many wonderful local area artists and there
will be a live band as well.

Lecture by Dr. Jane Goodall at Syracuse University,
visit to Onondaga Lake Both the lecture and visit
to Onondaga is free for college students and professors
who register with us.
Location: Syracuse University & Onondaga
Lake, NY
Cost:
FREE - Syracuse University has
allowed us to invite a total 50 students and professors
to this event so be sure to get your application in as
soon as possible.
Activities: Lecture by Dr. Goodall from 7:30 to
9:30pm on Monday evening.
Tuesday trip with Jane Goodall to Onondaga Lake and
possible meeting with Jane later that afternoon if time

Nationwide University Roots & Shoots Summit -
This conference will include university Roots & Shoots
students and faculty.
Jane Goodall will be attending this summit for workshops
and various events.

Clearpool Education Center (meals and lodging
included)
Cost:
FREE (Due to WestConn being awarded a
federal grant, the entire summit, including meals and
accommodations is free on a first come first serve basis
so we urge students and faculty to give a commitment by April
5th, 2006).

Club is Hosting a Pre-Earth Day Celebration

in and outside of the Student Center (Midtown Campus).

Wolf Conservation Center visit is $6 general admission,
WestConn Students Free.
Tickets can be purchased at the Student Center

The
Bear Search And Rescue Foundation is honoring
exceptional volunteers, both two-legged and four-legged in
the NYC Harbor. This is an organization that
celebrates Search And Rescue Dogs and their Trainers. Jane Goodall will be the keynote
speaker and WestConn Roots & Shoots will have a booth there.
All volunteers are welcome.
