On your first day, you will most likely spend a lot of time in Human Resources, going over benefits, possibly union information, timesheets (CORE_CT), etc. You will also meet someone in your department and probably get a tour of campus. Every department greets its new employees differently, but here are a few things that should be in place when you start or hopefully will be in place soon after. They should have already been requested by your supervisor and may take a while to get into place.
Please check with your department secretary or administrative assistant before contacting any offices directly.
Some time during your first week a member of the Welcoming Committee will contact you and provide you with additional information and give you an opportunity to ask questions. If at any time you have a question about anything, feel free to ask your co-workers or any of the members of the Welcoming Committee. Just pick up the phone or send us an email. We will all be glad to assist in any way we can.
