The Center for Business Research (CBR) conducts projects for non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross, Jane Goodall Institute and the Girl Scouts, and local for-profit organizations such as the News Times, Marcus Dairy and Casey Fuel. Projects have included market research, product development, strategic marketing and business planning, and financial analysis.
CBR is looking for a student with strong research skills to assist in grant funded projects. Primary responsibilities will include assessment and tracking of student learning outcomes for service learning projects. The candidate must be adept in MS Word and Excel. A working knowledge of statistical programs and Frontpage is a plus. Position requires good people skills and the ability to interface comfortably with other students, professors and community and business people. This position would have relevance to students in any number of disciplines.
Approx. 8 hours/week at $15/hr.
