MBA Program Objectives and Curriculum

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program prepares students for middle- or upper-level management positions in profit or non-profit organizations. In order to serve the needs of businesses and organizations in this region, the program is designed for part-time study: classes are scheduled in the evenings and occasionally on Saturdays.

The MBA program provides students with a fundamental knowledge of business and organizational functions and activities, as well as an exposure to strategic thinking and management.

The MBA degree will be conferred upon the graduate student who has:

  • Completed 54 graduate credits (minus waived and transferred credits) with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (B) or better.
  • Completed the program within an eight-year period.
  • Filed the application for the degree with the Office of Graduate Studies by
    March 1 for the May Commencement
    June 1 for an August conferral
    November 1 for a January conferral
