MBA Admission Requirements
Applicants to the MBA program must submit the following items:
- A completed "Application for Graduate Study"
- An official transcript from each college or university previously attended, including all undergraduate and graduate courses, grades, and degrees
- An official copy of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) results. GMAT scores must be from no more than five years prior to the date of enrollment. Learn more about the GMAT test.
- Two letters of recommendation, preferably from employers or former professors
- Optional -- a current rsum or curriculum vita and a letter stating why the applicant desires to pursue an MBA
Admission to the MBA program is based on the information in the above items; no admission decision can be made until all of them are in the applicant's file in the Office of Graduate Studies. Previous academic achievements, GMAT scores, recommendations, and work experience are important factors. For example, a record of appropriate employment at increasing levels of responsibility, or significant contributions to the community might be considered.
