Weather Center/ Broadcast Room
The Weather Center, an institute within the university, provides professional weather forecasts to local businesses and newspapers, including United Illuminating and the New Haven Register. The weather center is equipped with state of the art equipment and provides students an opportunity to gain practical forecasting experience using multiple screens and computer models. The Broadcast Room provides students the opportunity to gain operational experience in broadcast meteorology with the use of fully functional broadcast equipment.
