GROUND-BREAKING
CEREMONY
WCSU will hold a ground-breaking ceremony for the new School of
Visual and Performing Arts Instructional Facility from 4 to 6 p.m.
in the ballroom of the Westside Campus Center on the university's
Westside campus. The ceremony
will be free and the public is invited. For more information, call

The ceremony, which will feature a performance by the WCSU Jazz Orchestra, selections from Irving Berlin's "I Love A Piano" by the Department of Theater Arts, selections from Menotti's "The Old Maid and the Thief" by the WCSU Opera Ensemble, and an art exhibition featuring works by WCSU students, faculty, and alumni, will kick off the construction of this world-class facility that will house the departments of Art, Music, and Theater Arts in 2014.
