MS in Counselor Education Program

Assistant Professor

 One Year Special Appointment

 

Applications are currently being accepted for a one year appointment as an Assistant Professor in the MS Counselor Education Program. This position’s primary responsibilities will include teaching graduate courses and providing clinical supervision to internship students in the program. Student advisement and involvement in the student learning performance based assessment process as it applies to professional national counseling standards will also be required.

 

Qualifications:  An earned doctorate in counselor education or a related field is required as is eligibility for licensing in Connecticut. Professional work experience as a Counselor is required. Prior education teaching experience is preferred as is experience with CACREP accreditation standards. WCSU is a dynamic, diverse workplace, and the ability to work with students, faculty and staff from various backgrounds and cultures is highly valued.
