WCSU’s Ancell School of Business is pleased to
announce that applications are being accepted for a
tenure track position in information
security in the Management Information Systems (MIS) department. The
Ancell School of Business is composed of the departments of Accounting,
Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, and Marketing, as
well as the Division of Justice and Law Administration.
The MIS curriculum is designed to educate students in the use and
importance of information as an essential and valuable resource in
business decision making processes for all organizations. More

The successful candidate will be able to teach
courses in Information Security, Digital Forensics, Database Management,
Telecommunications, and Information Assurance; conduct research and
scholarship in the area of expertise within information
security/information assurance; advise and mentor students; and
participate in departmental and university service.
Qualifications:
Candidates
must present evidence of an earned doctorate in Management Information
Systems or a related field from an AACSB-accredited university.
The successful candidate will have a record of professional
activities and scholarly publications appropriate to rank, and research
and/or industrial experience in information security/information
assurance. Evidence of
excellence in teaching and scholarly activity is required.
Security certification (e.g.,
CISSP, CISM) is desired. As

effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures is
highly valued. Excellent written
and oral communication skills are required.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is
dependent upon qualifications.
