Western Connecticut State University
is hosting a week-long symposium, April 20-24, to celebrate the Hubble Space Telescope (HST), hailed as one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century, a device that has become a beloved icon for the scientific advances and the photographs it has transmitted of our universe.
The 20th anniversary of the telescope's launch provides an opportunity to celebrate the HubbleSpace Telescope along with the men, women and organizations who built it and who have contributed to its long life and successful mission.
