Banner

Banner, or 'the Banner tab' located within WestConnduit allows students to self-register for classes, query Financial Aid information, make payments, and more. For faculty, Banner Self Serve provides them with access to their class rosters, student academic history information, the ability to electronically submit grades, and other information. E-Learning (Blackboard Vista, WebCT)

Blackboard Vista allows students to access academic materials online in order to accomplish their instructional goals. With Vista, it is possible to provide the following online: Assessments, Assignments, Chat and Whiteboard, Discussions, Content Files, Media Libraries, Syllabus, Learning Modules, URLs, Course Calendar, Announcements, and Course Mail. WestConn Email

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to get a WestConn Email account for official WestConn business. Once your account has been created, you will have access to your email from any computer on or off–campus that has access to the Internet.

Students may obtain a WestConn Email account at any one of the staffed computer centers.  Faculty and staff should contact the IT Help Desk at (203) 837-8467. [further overview]

WestConn Windows Account

A WestConn Windows Account is necessary for students, faculty, and staff to access the University’s network from the computer centers, classrooms, labs, offices, residence halls, and wireless network.

Students may obtain a WestConn Windows Account from any staffed computer center on either campus. Faculty and staff should call the IT Help Desk at (203) 837-8467. [further overview]

WestConnduit

WestConnduit is WestConn’s campus portal. WestConnduit allows access to financial aid information, online registration, make payments, etc. WestConnduit also allows access to E-Learning, Westconn’s online course management system, as well as convenient links to Campus and Personal Announcements; Campus Events Calendar; and other university resources.
