Entourage Email Support
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to get a WestConn Email account for official WestConn business. Once your account has been created, you will have access to your email from any computer on or off–campus that has access to the Internet.
Students may obtain a WestConn Email account at any one of the staffed computer centers.

Windows Users will be migrated from Lotus Notes to Outlook. Mac users will access their mail through the Microsoft Entourage client, which is part of the Office 2008 for Mac suite. Entourage the equivalent of Outlook for Windows users. Mac users will be contacted individually and by department to migrate from Lotus Notes to Entourage. Mac users will also have full access to Outlook Web Access via the web.

Most of your account preferences will carry over to your Outlook mailbox. However, you will need to setup your signature and any mail rules that you had setup in Lotus Notes into Outlook.

Your Outlook Web Access password will now be whatever you changed your Windows password to, since both accounts use your Windows credentials to log you on.

To have your Outlook Web Access password reset, call the Help Desk (203) 837-8467. If your Windows account is locked out, you will not be able to login to Outlook Web Access. Your account will unlock after 15 minutes. If you still cannot login after 15 minutes, please call the Help Desk to have your password reset. Remember, your Outlook Web Access password is the same as your Windows password, so any changes to your Outlook Web Access password will affect your Windows account, and vice-versa.

In order to ensure a smooth transition between platforms, all users are encouraged to delete any unnecessary mail and empty their trash prior to migrating to Entourage.

To use Outlook Web Access, open a web browser and enter the URL:
https://mail.wcsu.edu into the address bar. When prompted, enter your WestConn username and Windows password. For more information about Outlook Web Access, click on the "Login to Outlook Web Access" link under
Self Help on the bottom right-hand corner of this page.

If you have an office on campus and you have your own university-issued computer, you should not need to enter a password to login to Entourage. When you launch Entourage, the program automatically uses your Windows login credentials to log you in. However, if you are prompted to enter a password, you will enter in your Windows username and password into the appropriate fields.
