Lotus Notes Email Support
All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to get a WestConn Email account for official WestConn business. Once your account has been created, you will have access to your email from any computer on or off–campus that has access to the Internet.
Students may obtain a WestConn Email account at any one of the staffed computer centers.

Depending on what version of the Lotus Notes client you are running, there are steps available to help re-new your certificate. To find out what version of Lotus Notes you have, make sure that the program is open, and select the Help menu. When the Help menu is open, select "About Notes". You get a pop up window that will enable you to determine what version you are currently running.

In order to add yourself to a distribution list, or to have someone else added to a distribution list, please send an email to
request_university_computing@wcsu.edu, and provide for us your name, the name of the distribution list, as well as any other names that you wish added to the list.

You do not have a default web browser set up within WestConn Email. Follow the steps below:
1. Open Lotus Notes Client
2. Go to File ----> Preferences ----> Location Preferences
3. Select the Internet Browser Tab
4. Click on the drop down arrow that appears
5. Select Internet Explorer ( do not select Notes with Internet Explorer )
6. Click OK
7. Save & Close the Location Preference window

To access your WCSU e-mail from within WestConnduit, click on the e-mail button in the upper right corner of the screen. This button is visible regardless of which WestConnduit page is active.

Students can request a WestConn email account by visiting either the Midtown Computer Center (Ruth Haas Library - Main Level), the Student Technology Training Center (Student Center, room 225), or the Westside Computer Center (Westside Classroom Building, room 117)
All students requesting an account (or a password reset) must have a valid WestConnect Card.
