SonicWall, WestConn's anti-spam tool, is an Internet email security product used by CSU to protect against spam, viruses, and other email threats. [further overview]
Anti-Virus
Through an agreement with Network Associates, Inc, WestConn has licensed McAfee anti-virus software for students, faculty, and staff, to download and install for free on their home computer. [further overview]
Anti-Spyware
During the summer of 2007, Information Technology & Innovation will install Windows Defender on all university Windows computers. A Microsoft product, Windows Defender increases your personal security by combating spyware, phishing, and other forms of desktop malware. [further overview]
