Banner system migration – January 3 thru January 8, 2018

Greetings and Happy Holidays to all WCSU students, faculty and staff.

We will be migrating our student information system to a new hosting environment provided by Ellucian, the software company that develops Banner.

Starting at 6 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, through 8:30 am Monday, January 8th, Banner and all related systems listed below will be offline and unavailable:

  • Banner Self Service / Banner Web
  • DegreeWorks
  • EZPay
  • Hyperion reporting (to production)
  • Active Directory Account Manager
  • Campus Calendar Manager
  • Identity Verification System
  • News & Events Manager
  • Parking Permit System
  • Self Service Windows Password Manager
  • Software Licensing System
  • Student Account Creation System
  • Student Employee Time Sheet (administrator)
  • Transfer Course Equivalency
  • EMS integration with Banner
  • IT&I Shift Punch
  • WestConnduit Announcements Manager
  • WestConnduit Announcements Manager Management Interface

System unaffected by the upgrade include:

  • Microsoft Email / Office 365
  • Blackboard
  • Shared Drives
  • Library System

 

Please plan accordingly, including resetting your WCSU account password (if necessary) for access to email, blackboard, shared drives and the Library System prior to Wednesday, January 3rd, 6 pm as our Service Desk will not be able to reset it for you until Monday, January 8th.
