In the
Math Clinic, tutors assist WCSU students with homework problems,
projects, preparing for quizzes or exams, and use of graphing
calculators and mathematical software.
Computers
are available
for students to work on their mathematical labs and projects, and to
access ALEKS and MyMathLab (used in MAT 098 and MAT 100 classes).
Tutors will not help with take-home exams, ALEKS assessments and other
forms of assessments that must be completed by the individual student.
Tutoring is free of charge and is offered on a first-come, first-served
walk-in basis. Appointments cannot be made. Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this free tutoring service. The tutors are very friendly and helpful. Students often choose to work on their math work in the Math Clinic "just in case" they have a question. Please feel free to contact Dr. Chuck Rocca, Math Clinic Director, if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
